travelers by vanettda travelers by vanettda
My webcomic concerns a steampunk traveler who is lost in space, and time unable to control where he travels to, or when. This week's comic speaks to the necessities of packing for this kind of travel. Some pack heavy and some pack light.

To mirror this aspect of steamy couture, I have placed two travelers in the role of Lewis and Clark; an homage to "Lewis and Clark West to the Pacific" by Frank R. "Bob" Davenport.

My webcomic can be seen here: [link]

I really like this piece - it's brilliantly detailed and catches the eye even without the addition of colour. I especially like the hats and the gun, and the arm on the character in the bowler-hat is amazing. Nice work!

I rather liked the arm replacement myself: it was a last minute decision, those always seem to be the best. The piece is in my queue for painting. I'm working on painting my Automaton right now. Thank you for your comment. ;-)

This is definitey an intersting concept! :)
The guy's tophat, coat, goggles, and that device hanging off his belt all contribute to the steampunk feel very well. That's some really impressive line work you have too, I would have completely thought it was traditional pencil work XD
Great work! :D
