The base drawing for my Artiste Gullible webcomic. The theme was true love. I normally work from some sort of scrap or reference material to draw from. Sometimes, this is something out of my head. Sometimes I set up Poser models, and sometimes I use stock photos. Sometimes I use all three in a composite (if geometries are critical). In this particular shot, my scrap was a young man carrying a girl whose legs were sort of kicking. I changed his hair (his head was shaved) added about 15 years in age, gave him mutton chops, clothed him, (he was wearing a tank top and shorts), took her cloths off, replaced her legs with a tail fin, (just made it up), added some strategic seaweed for my PG-13 strip, and dreamed up a shoreline.
